THE TONY AWARD - BROAD WAY NIGHT

"The 62nd Annual Tony Awards" took place on Sunday -- and ET was on the red carpet and behind the scenes at Radio City Music Hall in New York City for all the gossip and glamour from the prestigious event. Many stars also spoke out on the sad loss of newsman TIM RUSSERT.

"The View"'s WHOOPI GOLDBERG, a Tony Award-winner, hosted the occasion, which acknowledges the best and brightest performances on Broadway. She was joined onstage by ALEC BALDWIN, KRISTIN CHENOWETH, GLENN CLOSE, RICHARD GRIFFITHS, LAURA LINNEY, JOHN LITHGOW, LIZA MINNELLI, MARY-LOUISE PARKER, BROOKE SHIELDS and MARISA TOMEI, among others.

'Harry Potter''s DANIEL RADCLIFFE came all the way from across the pond for the event, telling us, "In London, you're a million miles away from the glamour of Broadway, and Broadway's a generally glamorous place!"
